I want to be honest about something: building a game from scratch while also trying to get the word out, keep up with everything else in life, and stay creatively motivated is genuinely hard. There are days where it does not feel like it is coming together at all.

But then there are days where something clicks. A mechanic works the way you imagined it. Someone plays the game and their reaction is exactly what you hoped for. Those moments make everything worth it.

I started ShyahTrailzDj with no team, no budget, and no roadmap. Just an idea and the willingness to figure things out as I went. That is still how it works most days. And honestly, I would not change it.

If you are building something too — anything — keep going. The hardest part is not the work itself. It is trusting that the work matters before you have proof that it does.
